Magdalena was born in Łańcut, Poland. She graduated from the Łódź University of Technology specializing in architecture of textiles in 1997. She is one of the first students with both technical and artistic education. In 2006 she completed her doctorate in the field of textiles. Currently she is an academic teacher in the Institute of Architecture of Textiles of the Łódź University of Technology and director of the Studio of Fashion Design. She uses her creativity and passion for designing textiles, fashion and wickerwork, as well as ability to combining art and technique using unconventional methods in teaching future designers – the Faculty of Design of the Łódź University of Technology students and Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź students. She organizes wicker workshops within the scope of the Festival of Science, Technique and Art in Łódź. She participates in the international open air wicker art sessions. She was awarded 2nd Prize for artwork “Nieskończoność” at the spatial wickerwork forms contest at the 14th International Triennial of Tapestry in Łódź in 2013.
