Elżbieta was born in 1948 in Łódź, Poland. She graduated from the Faculty of Textile and Fashion Design of the Strzemiński State Higher School of Visual Arts in Łódź. Since 1973 she has been an academic teacher in her home university (now Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź). She works with textile and fashion design. She has held numerous solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Her works can be found in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź, in the Museum of the City of Gdynia and in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno, Poland.
