Biography:
Agnieszka Godszling was born in Wieluń, Poland in 1985. She graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts (Kalisz, Poland) of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with a degree under the tuition of prof. Ewa Poradowska-Werszler in 2010. She completed her doctorate at the Faculty of Textile and Fashion Design of the Strzemiński Academy of Art in Łódź, Poland in 2000. She works as an academic teacher at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts in Kalisz. Agnieszka has participated in the “Warsztat Twórczy – Kowary” International Symposium in Kowary, Poland. She has also participated in many group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Recent solo exhibitions: the “Centrum” Gallery in Kamienna Góra, Poland in 2009; the “Na Jatkach” Weaving Gallery in Wrocław, Poland in 2010 and 2011; the Adam Mickiewicz University Gallery in Kalisz in 2011; and the Weaving Art Museum in Kamienna Góra in 2015. Agnieszka was awarded several prizes and distinctions.
