Janina graduated from the Department of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture of the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Poznań, Poland with an honours degree in 1975 under the tuition of prof. Olgierd Truszyński. From 1975 to 1985 she worked as an academic teacher in the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Poznań. Currently she works in the Secondary School of Visual Arts in Gdynia, Poland. Janina works with artistic textile and sculpture. She has participated in several dozen group exhibitions, a dozen open air sculpting sessions and open air weaving sessions, as well as in many open air exhibitions. She has held solo exhibitions in: the Poznańska Galeria Nowa gallery in Poznań in 1980; the Galeria Bazart gallery in Poznań in 1984; the Rathaus Gallery in Mannheim, Germany in 1991; the Association of Polish Artists and Designers St. Mary’s Gallery in Gdańsk in 1992 and 2006; the BPH Bank in Gdynia in 1997; and the Arts Factory in Tczew, Poland in 2007.
