Leszek Kwaśny graduated from the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Łódź, Poland with a degree in the Studio of Decorative Textile under the tuition of prof. Aniela Bogusławska and in the Studio of Painting under the tuition of prof. Roman Modzelewski in 1971. He works with painting and unique textiles. He has participated in many exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including: the “Sztuka włókna” exhibition held by the Bielsko-Biała Gallery in the Bureau for Artistic Exhibitions in Bielsko-Biała, Poland in 1997; “Z krosna do Krosna” Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno, Poland in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2012; the Baltic Triennial of Miniature Textiles in Gdynia, Poland in 2004 and 2010; the Polish National Exhibition of Miniature Textiles in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź, Poland in 2008 and 2010; the exhibition in the Martha Gault Art Gallery at the Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, USA in 2008; and the “Łódzki zakład” exhibition in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź in 2011.
