Biography:

Agnieszka Jankowska was born in 1968 and graduated from the Institute of Artistic Education at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin with a degree under the tuition of Prof. Sławomir Mieleszko in the Studio of Sculpture in 1994. She completed her doctorate in Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 2004. Since 1998 she is an academic teacher at the University of Rzeszów, currently an adjunct at the Prof. Maria Siuta-Górecka Faculty of Sculpture. Her lifework comprises: 18 solo exhibitions and participation in several dozen group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. She was awarded in the painting and sculpture competition “Autograf 2005” by the Dean of the Department of Art at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin in 2005 and in the Salon Wielkopolski competition Grand Prix in 2010 and 2012.
