Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan – Department of Interior Designing in 1973. Involved in textiles and watercolour paintings. Took part in numerous group exhibitions and competitions in fibre art in Hungary, Mexico, Japan, Australia, France, Spain, Canada and USA. Received various prizes including in the prize “Award of Recognition” in the International Crafts Festival ’92, Toyama (Japan), cycle textiles “Provisorium”; The 3^rd prize in the 5^th All-Polish Watercolour Triennale in Lublin in 1996; “Grand Prix” in the 3^rd International Baltic Biennial of Weaver’s Miniature in 1997; The Special Reward in the 9^th International Watercolour Exhibitions in Uckange (France) 1999, The Reward in the 1^st and ^2nd International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennale in Krosno in 2000; Award in the 4^th Biennale of Small Painting Forms in Torun in 2001.
