Biography:
Edyta Rola-Marcinkowska lives in Szczytniki on the Kaczawa River in Lower Silesia. She graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Jelenia Góra, and then the Higher State School of Applied Arts in Poznań where she obtained her diploma in Painting with a specialization Spatial Fabric and Tapestry. In addition, she graduated from Art Therapy at the University of Humanities and Economics in Łódź. In 2015, she received a doctorate in plastic arts at the University of Humanities and Technology in Radom. She is experimenting creating structural three-dimensional forms from natural fibre. Edyta Rola-Marcinkowska has worked with many cultural and educational institutions where she organizes and implements original artistic projects and art therapy. She has been a participant of many individual and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.

*Światowid – in Slavic mythology the deity of good harvest and war.
