Biography: Dorota Sak graduated with honours from the Public Academy of Arts in Łódź in 1990. She has been an academic teacher at her home university. In the years 1999-2002 she was a member of the Council for Higher Education in Art and Design at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. From 2012 to 2016 Dorota Sak was the head of the Clothing Faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. In 2014 she founded the LOOK Gallery at the Fashion Promotion Centre in Łódź which she ran until 2019. She is the initiator and participant of international conferences and art projects. In 2019 Dorota Sak received the title of professor of art. She has cooperated with the National Academy of Arts in Lviv and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vilnius. She has worked in textile art, painting and clothing design. She has presented her works at numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
