Katarzyna Rumińska was born in 1988, she is a Polish visual artist and doctor of arts. In her work, she explores the possibilities of eclectic forms and techniques focusing on space-time through painting in a sculptural form. She reaches for the geometrization of thoughts, creates virtual worlds and spatial objects and fabrics that extend our concept of the covering as a boundary element between the human body and the outside world. The artist uses haptic impressions, modular objects in which both the external and internal anatomy of the work are equally important. She experiments with tools, uses light transmitting materials. In the creative process, she looks for structures and uses new technologies, including 3D printing extended with her own techniques. In 2018, she started the FDM Cycle, which she systematically expands and continues research on it by creating new collections. Katarzyna Rumińska has been a participant of individual and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. She has been a member of the Management Board of The Association of Polish Artists and Designers in Toruń District, member of The Association of Graphic Designers, curator of exhibitions, academic lecturer.
