Piotr Pandyra was born in 1981 in Poland. In the years 2003-2009 he studied artistic education in the fine arts at the Faculty of Arts of The Pedagogical University of Cracow. He obtained his PhD title at his Alma Mater in 2020. He has repeatedly exhibited his works at home and abroad and has received several awards, including the Prix France Patchwork, 10 International Artextures, Exposition d’Art textile Contemporian France; the Prof. Irena Huml Award, 10th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial (2018). His works are in the collections of: The Special Collections Book Arts and Rare Book Collection, University of Washington, USA and the Museum of Crafts in Krosno.
