Janusz Motylski comes from Staniszów, lives and works in Karpacz. The main areas of his creative interests are: painting, drawing, graphics, unique fabric, sculpture, photography. He graduated from the Faculty of Art Education of the University of Silesia in Katowice – a diploma in Painting at Alfred Biedrawa’s Studio. He has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. He has been a winner of Polish and international awards and distinctions in the field of art. Janusz Motylski has been a laureate of the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Award “For Outstanding Achievements in Culture” and the medal “Zasłużony dla Diecezji Legnickiej” for his contribution to culture and art. His works can be found in art galleries, museums and private collections (including: Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, China, Japan, Mexico, USA and Poland). He has organised 60 individual exhibitions and participated in over 150 collective exhibitions.
