Sylwia Korpalska graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Łomża and then the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź at the Faculty of Textile and Clothing, major: Design, purview: textile design. She obtained her diploma under the supervision of Prof. Jolanta Rudzka-Habisiak. She works in widely understood textile art (weaving, batik, experimental textile) as well as painting. She has worked in the Municipal Cultural Centre in Zambrów, where she runs a Textile Workshop (classes in weaving and batik), a Puppet Workshop and a children's Art Workshop.
