Biography:
Bogusława Jaroszewicz-Fogler graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw – diploma in textiles in Prof. Wojciech Sadley’s Studio and in painting Prof. Jan Tarasin’s Studio. Her major exhibitions include: the National Exhibition of the Polish Miniature Textiles, Central Museum of Textiles, Łódź (1985, 1988, 1995, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016); National Exhibition of the Polish Tapestry, Central Museum of Textiles, Łódź (2010, 2013); 15th International Triennial of Tapestry, Museum of Textiles, Łódź (2016); “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial, Museum of Crafts in Krosno (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016). Individual exhibitions: Warsaw (2012, 2014, 2015, 2018), Chełm (2013), Kutno (2016), Piła, Olkusz, Ostrołęka (2017). Prize winner: 3rd Prize – “Z krosna do Krosna” 6th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial, Museum of Crafts in Krosno (2010); 1st Prize – 8th International Weaving’s and Fiber Art’s Competition and 3rd Prize 9th International Weaving’s and Fiber Art’s Competition, Parma, Italy (2011, 2012).
