She received her Diploma at the Faculty of Art Education and at the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture in of Prof. Urszula Plewka-Schmidt’s Studio. She has been a researcher and lecturer at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin at the Faculty of Architecture since 2012. Her artistic interests and design projects are based on research and solutions in the field of soft structures, which in combination with synthetic fibres create spatial objects. Her goal is to stimulate the recipient’s senses of sight and touch. The works are not figurative. They are a record of personal aesthetic feelings inspired by the senses of touch and sight. Mutually complementary stimuli are subject to metamorphosis into the language of structures, and when visualized - in the form of unique textile and miniatures. Renata Jackowiak’s achievements include over a dozen individual exhibitions and over 140 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
