Biography: Maria Bugajska Kondrad was born in Nysa in families escaping from Lviv and Sanok. A graduate of State School of Fine Arts in Wrocław and the Folk University in Wzdów. She completed higher studies in Cieszyn and Lublin, which she combined with motherhood, and finally graduated with honours from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Rzeszów (2018). She received Rector's scholarship at the University of Rzeszów four times. Maria Bugajska Kondrad is a visual artist: painter, sculptor and a graphic artist. She has been an educator and instructor of handicrafts and theatre activities for children, cultural and educational instructor with a diploma as well as a culture animator. An active participant in many cultural and artistic projects, plein-airs, exhibitions and theatre-related activities. For several years, Maria Bugajska Kondrad has worked for the Folk University of Art Crafts in Sękowa Wola, where she has conducted classes in sculpture and creative development. She works mainly with children from small rural areas with difficult access to culture in their place of living. Maria Bugajska Kondrad's individual exhibitions include: "P-oszukiwanie SIEBIE", Jasielski Dom Kultury, Jasło (2018); "Czarne w Czarnem" – art project, Opuszczona wieś Czarne (2018); "AKTY w NIEJ", Regionalne Centrum Kultur Pogranicza in Krosno (2021); "m.in. Maria Bugajska Kondrad", Galeria Rynek 6, Jarosław (2022); "NIE UBRANA NIE NAGA", BWA in Sanok (2022). The latest collective exhibitions: "tech_stylia" – exhibition of interactive textile art, BWA in Krosno (2020); "Kobieta", Galeria Rynek 6, Jarosław (2022); "ULTRA PASJE", Jasielski Dom Kultury, Jasło (2022).
